Judge It Somewhere We Do Not Control

Reviews live on platforms the shop does not control, which is the point of them. Google and Yelp carry the largest volume, Facebook carries the longest write ups, and the 4.8 average across 200+ reviews describes the OCRV Center facility in Yorba Linda.

Where to read them

01

Google Business Profile

Highest volume and the one most owners check first. Reviews sit next to the directions and hours, so it is also the practical place to start if you are planning the drive up from Lake Forest.

02

Yelp

Longer written reviews. Owners tend to describe the whole file here: the first inspection, what the carrier did, what a supplement added and how long the vehicle was actually in a bay.

Facebook

Recommendations rather than star ratings, often from repeat customers and from businesses that run more than one unit through the shop.

How the shop handles a bad one

A negative review gets a reply and a phone call, in that order. The reply is short and it does not argue the file in public, because the details of a repair belong to the customer and not to a comment thread. The phone call is where the actual problem gets worked out.

Reviews are never solicited in exchange for anything. There is no discount for a five star rating and no gate that asks how you feel before deciding which link to show you. If the work was good, say so. If it was not, the shop would rather hear it directly at (949) 799-3387 while there is still something to fix.

A sample, in the customer's words

The rear cap on our diesel pusher had cracks running out of two separate impact points and I assumed it was cosmetic. They taped out the tap test boundary on the panel and showed me the laminate had released almost a foot past anything I could see. Replacement, not a patch.
Dana R. · Lake Forest · Class A diesel pusher
Our fifth wheel took a gate post on the driver side. What sold me was the intake walkaround, where they photographed the two year old scrape on the other side and wrote it down as prior damage before touching the new stuff. That kept the claim clean.
Miguel C. · Mission Viejo · Fifth wheel
Sprinter conversion, sliding door caved in by a delivery truck. They pulled the interior cabinetry out in a documented sequence, tagged everything, and it went back in without a single scratch on the walnut. The door gap matches the other side within a millimeter.
Priya N. · Irvine · Sprinter camper van
I brought in a toy hauler with a soft spot near the rear ramp door. They took moisture readings in a grid and wrote the numbers down with locations instead of just telling me it was wet. Turned out the entry point was the ramp seal, three feet from where I thought.
Brett A. · Rancho Santa Margarita · Toy hauler fifth wheel
