Entegra Coach Repair For Lake Forest Owners

Entegra Coach is the luxury motorised line built by Jayco under Thor Industries, spanning diesel pushers, Super C models and Class C coaches. Entegra bodies are painted rather than gelcoated across almost the entire range, which makes refinish planning the dominant variable in every Entegra estimate we write.

What we see on Entegra Coach units

Patterns specific to how this manufacturer builds, rather than generic RV advice.

01

Full side reshoot requirement on Anthem and Cornerstone graphics

The graphic layers on these coaches run continuously from front cap to rear cap along the sidewall, and the design frequently uses long sweeping curves rather than discrete panels. There is no natural break to blend into partway along the side. A repair in the middle of a sidewall therefore means shooting the full side from cap to cap to keep the graphic continuous, which is a substantially larger operation than the damage suggests. We establish that at estimate so nobody is surprised by the number.

02

Cab to house joint movement on Accolade and Esteem Super C

A Super C joins a purpose built house body to a commercial truck cab that was engineered to twist independently on its own frame. The joint between them is sealed and trimmed rather than structurally continuous, and it works constantly. On these coaches the seal at that joint fatigues and admits water into the top of the wardrobe or the overhead behind the cab. Owners look for a roof leak. The water is entering at the joint and running back. Resealing without allowing for the movement puts the same failure back.

03

Side radiator air path obstruction after a rear quarter repair

The larger Entegra diesel coaches use a side mounted radiator that draws air through a grille in the rear quarter panel. A repair to that quarter has to reinstate the grille area, the ducting behind it and the clearance around the core exactly, because reducing that air path affects cooling under load on a grade. It is easy to rebuild a rear quarter to a perfect exterior contour and quietly restrict the intake. We check the air path dimensionally against the undamaged side before the panel is closed.

04

Qwest Transit roof cap bond at the body extension

The Qwest extends a Ford Transit with a composite body section and a raised roof cap, and the bond where that extension meets the factory steel is a mixed material joint on a vehicle used as a daily driver. It sees more thermal and vibration cycling than a coach that comes out four times a year. The joint develops a fine crack along the upper edge, usually on the driver side. Rebuilding it needs a flexible structural adhesive and a reinforcing bridge rather than a filler and paint repair.
